teen authors talk father absence: A reading
Flyer created and designed by Ms. Afrika Abney, Arts and Marketing Consultant
"When I read the essays of the teen girls whose essays appear in "Discovering Me...Without You" I was blown away, impressed by their powerful storytelling skills but also by their resilience. Father absence is traumatic. They make that clear. Equally important, they demonstrate that it is possible to navigate that trauma to a place of healing and self actualization.
Don't take my word for any of this." -- Jonetta Rose Barras, President and CEO of Esther Productions Inc -- estherproductionsinc.com
