Are you a teen girl growing up without the active involvement of your father and you want to understand how his absence may be affecting your life? Do you want to learn how to heal from fatherlessness? Are you looking for tools and resources that will empower you?
Then, join us for this exciting workshop with nationally known artist/healer. A popular facilitator, she had conducted dozens of these kind of sessions, guiding fatherless girls and women in using the arts to discuss their confusion about father absence or their pain while having fun and meeting their inner artist.
Brittany Adams art works have been featured in International African American Journal reviews. Some of her art also has been included in the private collections of national celebrities, including radio talk show host Tom Joyner. Ms. Adams also has served as the Artistic Director of Young Audiences, providing art experiences for children, including those in underserved communities. She is also a highly sought illustrator of children and young adult books.
Participants are not required to have previous arts experience. All supplies will be provided. All that’s needed is you. LIGHT REFRESHMENTS. DOOR PRIZES. PLENTY OF FUN.
